Influences and photographers you like- I get influenced by what is around me, the space, nature, light... I love photographers like Philip Lorca-diCorcia, LaChapelle and many others I don't even know the names.
A little about you- I'm living in Paris for now, I study Philosophy. I did a BA in fashion photography at LCF, London. I have a cat and a boyfriend but I might love my cat a little more.

A little about you- Lavalette’s photographs have been shown widely, including national and international exhibitions at Aperture Gallery, Montserrat College of Art Gallery, The Carpenter Center for Visual Arts at Harvard University, The Center for Photography at Woodstock, Chelsea Art Museum, The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Musée de l’Elysée, Les Rencontres d’Arles, Galerie Azzedine Alaïa, Caochangdi PhotoSpring Festival and The Photographers’ Gallery, London. Lavalette was commissioned by the High Museum of Art to create a new body of work as part of the “Picturing the South” series, from which a selection of photographs will be exhibited in 2012. His editorial work has been published in various magazines, including The New York Times Magazine, Newsweek, Vice Magazine, Pig Magazine and SLASH. Lavalette is the founding publisher and editor of Lay Flat.
