Name- Parker Bright
Where are you from?- Chicago suburbs
Your equipment- Mamiya 645 AF, Olympus stylus telephoto, Canon AE-1, Nikon d50, and at times a Mamiya C330
Influences and photographers you like- One of my biggest influences is my good pal Nick White. I've been shooting photos with him for a while and watching his progression has almost helped myself mature. Recently I've been enjoying Yasuhiro Ishimoto, Ralph Meatyard, Vivian Maier's work. My grandfather's WWII photos are what really got my into photography in general.
A little about you- Well, I have little to no real education in photography. I've been shooting photos for 2 years. In the fall I'll be studying photography at SAIC. Almost every camera I shoot/shot with is not mine, except the Mamiya 645 AF, and my point & shoot. I'm a kid trying to be an adult, and photography is the only thing i'm remotely good at, so i guess I'll stick with it.
