Influences and photographers you like- I own a lot photo books. All the greats. What each has added to photography's  visual language will always be ingrained in my conscious. But I'm mostly inspired by my friends on flickr. The ones still shooting film, keeping it simple, honest, and without gimmicks. I really dig Missy Prince and Megan McIsaac, but there’s a ton. Oh, and Vivian Maier, who I think is American photography's greatest antihero.
A little about you- I'm not into art or concepts. I just like taking photos. They help me remember and sometimes look pretty cool. I can print them out and they are fun to hold and look at. I think that’s been the core of photography in American culture and that’s as far as it goes for me.
