Influences and photographers you like-Juergen Teller, Nan Goldin, Stefanie Schneider, Larry Clark, Edouard Plongeon, Lina Scheynius. Also heavily influenced by paintings, landscapes and movies (especially the works of David Lynch, Terrence Mallick and Jim Jarmusch). A little about you- I'm an aspiring photographer/student, born in Oslo. I was raised in the country side but returned to Oslo last fall. I've been taking photos using film for approximately 2 years, mainly using Polaroid since spring 2009. I'm currently on my last year of Norwegian high school, studying social studies, french and english. I'm also working on my portofolio and school applications, and will hopefully publish a small book/fanzine by the end of November. Name- Ana Vera Age- 21 Where are you from?- Venezuela, Mcbo. Your equipment- an Olympus IS20, Minolta srt-100 and for the few digital shots I take a small Lumix. Influences and photographers you like- There are so many photographers I admire not only for their technique but for everything their work evokes, some of them are: Lina Scheynius, Katherine Squier, Sophie Curtis, Jocelyn Catterson, Hannah and Landon Metz, Margaret Durow, Christian Pitschl(crush) and Aimee Broudeur. From Venezuela I'd have to say Florencia Alvarado. (notice how most of them are girls and around my same age) A little about you- I am in love with shooting film, from the aesthetics to the weight of the camera, nothing compares. For some reason I seem to take my time with it, It'll usually take me from 1 to 2 months to get the 36 shots. What I look for the most is not getting the perfect light, right angle or focus, but to show a feeling. The idea of writing about me and showcasing my emotions on blogs all over the internet makes me cringe, so i just shoot what I'd like to say, that's how I started doing my "palabra del día" (word of the day) project, most of the words represent something I was feeling o going trough on each given day. Influences and photographers you like- Como grandes influencias por parte de autores te diría.. Todd Hido, Joel Sternfeld, Alec Soth,Adam Jeppesen, Robert Adams o William Eggleston. Pero, obviamente, también me he influencian muchísimas otras cosas aparte de la fotografía. Fotógrafos que me gustan.. mi delicious está repleto de gente. Con internet estoy llegando a un colapso mental/visual al ver tan buen material. A little about you- Pues hoy cumplo 26 años, vivo en Barcelona y soy cada día más "fotógrafo" y menos diseñador gráfico, que es lo que estudié al venir a esta ciudad.
