Influences and photographers you like- Joy Division, The Smiths, Larry Clark, Richard Kern, Godard, Sam Riley (Control), Electric Youth! Magazine, Purple Magazine, Transworld Skateboarding, Hardcore/ Punk, Some photographers I like at the moment are Lina Scheynius, Leon Mark and Juergen Teller.
A little bit about you- A regular Dutchie who grew up with punk/hardcore, unity and all that shit, studied illustration at Art Academy and eventually became a photographer by accident. I am kind of a tom boy girl who's just trying to capture something real in life. A moment, a reflection of my own emotion sometimes. I shoot very hands-on, using what ever I can get - equipment, location and what ever the model gives me. I'm picky about casting. There has to be some real love there, like an infatuation with that person, otherwise I don't really want to shoot them... At a shoot nothing is ever forced really, it all goes with the flow. Being a photographer Is sometimes like being a voyeur but not secretive, sometimes like being a little pervert, but then at the same time being just a friend who's shooting friends. I shoot quick, but I don't stop until I've got the shot that I want.
