Name- Missy Prince
Age- 38
Where are you from?- I grew up in Gulfport, Mississippi but I live in Portland, Oregon.
Your equipment- Mainly an Olympus XA because it fits in my pocket, though I also use a Rolleiflex and various Polaroids.
Influences and photographers you like- Ed Ruscha, Saul Leiter, William Eggleston, documentary photography in general, Mike Slack, Tarkovsky's Polaroids, David Lynch, Mikael Kennedy, and so many others I find on a daily basis.
A little about you- I love to look, and the photos I take are the rewards of looking. A sense of place is what I respond to the most in the work of others, so I think that's what I'm trying to convey.

Where are you from?- I'm from Iowa and i currently and recently live in Tsu, Japan. Before that i was in Seoul, Korea... teaching english and taking photos.
Your equipment- I shoot with a Canon AE-1 mostly. When i do medium format i use a Ricoh-Flex or a Holga.
Influences and photographer you like- My influences, who also take photos: (those i know:) Ben Acree, John and Jackson Eaton, Robert S. Johnson, Blakey Bear, (those i don't:) Jaque Henri Lartigue, William Eggleston, Henri Cartier Bresson.
A little about you- I am contrasting things in equal proportion, true of any of my qualities, but most evident with being social and isolated. as a result, i like high contrast images. Lately my favorite contrast is the juxtaposition of delicate and harsh.
